'Bhagavanth Kesari' Movie Review: What's Good, What's Bad; Find It Out From Viewers' Words

Balakrishna is back with his latest flick 'Bhagavanth Kesari' which has hit the screens on Thursday (October 18). The movie is written and directed by Anil Ravipudi of 'F2: Fun and Frustration' and 'Pataas' fame.

The Telugu flick has Kajal Aggarwal in the female lead role with Sreeleela, Arjun Rampal, Priyanka Jawalkar, R Sarathkumar, and John Vijay in the cast. The film has S Thaman's music, Tammiraju's editing and C Ramprasad's cinematography.

The movie has garnered a lot of hype with its promos. 'Bhagavanth Kesari' is releasing in over 1200 screens. However, it is clashing with Vijay's multilingual movie 'Leo' along with Ravi Teja's ''Tiger Nageswara Rao'.

Story:

Nelakonda Bhagavanth Kesari (Balakrishna) takes on the responsibility of caring for a young girl named Vijji (Sreeleela) in fulfillment of her late father's wishes. As she grows into her teenage years, Kesari dedicates himself to preparing her for Army recruitment. Meanwhile, a wealthy businessman named Rahul Sanghvi (Arjun Rampal) has his sights set on Project V and resorts to corrupt dealings with high-ranking politicians. In a flashback, Sanghvi had a confrontation with Bhagavanth Kesari, and he now seeks to settle old scores. The remaining part of the film explores how Bhagavanth Kesari navigates between his two objectives: empowering Vijji and confronting Rahul.

Venky Reviews: A Satisfactory Commercial Entertainer!
Though the comedy doesn't work and there are lags in some places, the mass blocks and emotional aspect is pretty decent for the most part. BGM is ok but not up to the mark. Balayya's most subtle performance in recent times and he excelled.

Decent 1st Half!

Starts off with a well done emotional setup and introduction but then goes down a routine path with some comedy bits that don't work. Film picks up after a warning scene till the interval. A few mass blocks came out well.

But Thaman BGM is not magical.
