Bazooka OTT Release: When Will Mammootty-Starrer Be Released Online?

Mammootty's latest movie Bazooka has opened to mixed reviews on Thursday. The action thriller is written and directed by Deeno Dennis and produced by Yoodlee Films and Theatre of Dreams.

Made with the budget of Rs 20 crore, the movie has got a decent start at the box office, with the fans of Mamukka lining up before theatres to watch the first day, first show. The fans are hoping that his latest movie will strike gold as his previous outing Dominic and the Ladies' Purse had failed to set the box office on fire.

Over the years, there has been a lot of demand for Malayalam movies on OTT platforms. Since the content made in Kerala is being watched by viewers across the language, the OTT platforms on numerous occasions have acquired the digital rights even before the theatrical release.

Mammootty's movies are also in demand and his last movie Dominic and the Ladies' Purse was acquired by Amazon Prime for good amount. However, the makers of Bazooka have not sold the digital rights, yet.

It is believed that the talks are on with OTT platforms and a formal announcement is expected soon.

As far as the release date is concerned, Bazooka is expected to be out on the OTT platform in May.

What Is The Movie All About?

The story of the Malayalam movie revolves around a cop and a businessman joining hands to nab a serial killer. How they capture him through a series of elaborate games forms the crux of the story.

The Malayalam flick has Tamil filmmaker Gautham Vasudev Menon playing an important role. Babu Antony, Neeta Pillai, Gayathri Iyer, Jagadish, Sidharth Bharathan, Iswarya Menon, Abin Bino and others are part of the cast.

The movie has Saeed Abbas' music, Nimish Ravi and Roby Varghese Raj's cinematography and Nishadh Yusuf and Praveen Prabhakar's editing.
