Babil Khan Breaks Down On Video, Names Many Stars For Being 'Rude'; Fans Concerned: 'Bollywood Is So F***ed'

A video of late actor Irrfan Khan's son, Babil Khan, has recently gone viral on Reddit, raising concern among fans.

In the emotional footage, Babil appears distressed and tearful, criticising the film industry and saying, "Bollywood is so f***ed, Bollywood is so, so rude."

He mentions several industry names - including Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, as well as "outsiders" like Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, and Adarsh Gourav - while expressing his sense of alienation.

Though the context behind the video remains unclear, it has sparked worry about Babil's mental wellbeing, with many Reddit users speculating that he may be feeling isolated or marginalised in the industry.

Several commenters called for empathy, suggesting the young actor may be facing serious emotional challenges.

Babil has not addressed the video publicly, and it no longer appears on his Instagram Stories. Nonetheless, the clip has resonated deeply online and reignited discussions around mental health and the pressures of navigating the film industry.

In the video, shared by a Reddit user, Babil says, "What I mean to say is that I just want you guys to know that there are people like Shanaya Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Raghav Juyal, Adarsh Gourav and even... Arjun Singh... There are so, so many more names. Bollywood is so f***ed. Bollywood is so, so rude."

In another segment, he adds, "Bollywood is the most fake, fake, fake industry I've ever been part of. But there are a few people who want Bollywood to be better... I've got so much more to show you, so much more to give."

According to the original Reddit post, the video was removed from Instagram shortly after it was uploaded.

Many Reddit users responded with concern. One commented, "This is really sad. He's clearly going through something."

Another said, "He's young and vulnerable in a brutally competitive industry without his father. I hope he gets the support he needs and returns stronger."

Just last week, Babil marked his father Irrfan Khan's fifth death anniversary with an Instagram tribute.

In 2018, Irrfan had revealed he was battling neuroendocrine cancer, for which he underwent treatment in the UK.

He returned to India in 2019 but was hospitalised the following year due to a colon infection linked to his illness.

The thespian passed away on April 29, aged 53.
