Avidan Productions Unveils ‘Kano Kamangaro’, First-of-Its-Kind Janoi Song Celebrating Vihaan Raval’s Ceremony

In a landmark cultural moment for Gujarat, Avidan Productions has unveiled "Kano Kamangaro", a specially composed Janoi ceremony song dedicated to young Vihaan Priteshbhai Raval of Ahmedabad - marking what is being described as the first-ever original musical tribute created exclusively for a sacred Upanayan (Janoi) ritual.

Born on April 13, 2013, Vihaan - whose name signifies "the first ray of the sun" - became the inspiration behind an artistic project that blended spirituality, tradition, and contemporary storytelling. The ceremony was conceptualised and captured with symbolic precision, transforming a deeply rooted Vedic ritual into a visually and musically rich experience.

To reflect the meaning of Vihaan's name, a sunrise photoshoot was conducted at Dwarka Beach, where the first rays of sunlight were captured illuminating the young initiate as he stepped into a new spiritual phase of life. The imagery symbolised rebirth, awakening, and sacred transition.

The musical composition journey began in early January 2026 with lyrics penned by Kavi Sidh Charan. The project was produced by Shivani Raval, sung by Himanshu Barot, and recorded at DJ Kwid Studio. Direction and creative scripting were led by Milan Joshi.

Key sequences were filmed at the historic Modhera Sun Temple, reinforcing the sun symbolism central to the theme. Additional visuals were shot during the Uttarayan festival at Swapnsrushti, adding vibrancy and cultural depth. Despite logistical challenges during the festive season, support from Bhaveshbhai of Rangoli Foundation enabled seamless execution.

The official launch was held on January 30, 2026, and hosted by noted RJ Dhvanit Thaker.
With "Kano Kamangaro," Avidan Productions has introduced a new cultural expression - turning a sacred rite of passage into a timeless musical keepsake, setting what could become a new ceremonial tradition.
