Australian Cricketer David Warner Lands In Hyderabad For 'Robinhood' Trailer Launch

Australian cricketer David Warner has officially arrived in Hyderabad, receiving a warm and enthusiastic welcome ahead of the grand trailer launch and pre-release event for 'Robinhood', the film that marks his debut in Indian cinema.

Stepping into a new role beyond the cricket field, Warner was greeted with a massive bouquet upon his arrival and happily signed autographs for excited fans who gathered to catch a glimpse of him. His transition from a cricketing superstar to an actor has been the talk of the town, and the anticipation for his role in 'Robinhood' is at an all-time high.

Under the direction of Venky Kudumula, 'Robinhood' stars Telugu actor Nithiin in the lead role. The film follows the story of Honey Singh, a thief who steals from the rich to help the poor, with Warner making a special cameo appearance.

The buzz around Warner's involvement in the project started last week when the film's production house, Mythri Movie Makers, officially welcomed him with a heartfelt post on social media.

"After shining and leaving a mark on the ground, it is time for him to shine on the silver screen. Introducing the widely loved @davidwarner31 to Indian Cinema with #Robinhood in an exciting cameo. Grand release worldwide on March 28th," the production banner posted on X (formerly Twitter).

Warner, too, expressed his excitement about the new venture. Taking to social media, he wrote, "Indian Cinema, here I come! Excited to be a part of #Robinhood. Thoroughly enjoyed shooting for this one. Grand release worldwide on March 28th."

Apart from Warner and Nithiin, 'Robinhood' boasts a stellar ensemble cast, including Sreeleela, Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Devdatta Nage, Shine Tom Chacko, Aadukalam Naren, and Mime Gopi.

The film's music is composed by National Award-winning musician G V Prakash Kumar, while Sai Sriram takes charge of cinematography. The art direction is led by Raam Kumar, with Koti handling the editing.

As the excitement builds, 'Robinhood' is all set to hit theaters worldwide on March 28, 2025. Fans of both Indian cinema and cricket will be eagerly waiting to see Warner swap his bat for a new adventure on the big screen!
