Sana Raees Khan, well-known in legal circles for her professional background, has taken a step into the world of reality television by joining the cast of 'Bigg Boss 17.' However, her participation on the show has sparked controversy.

The issue arises from concerns raised by Ashutosh Dubey, a prominent lawyer at the Bombay High Court. Dubey contends that Sana Raees Khan's involvement in 'Bigg Boss 17' violates the rules set forth by the Bar Council of India, which oversees the ethical and professional conduct of lawyers. He has officially lodged a complaint with the Bar Council regarding this matter.

In a statement provided to the media, Dubey made his objections clear, stating, "I have formally notified the Bar Council of India that Advocate Sana Raees Khan has participated as a contestant in the reality show 'Bigg Boss 17,' which is a violation of Bar Council Rules. According to rules 47 to 52 of the Bar Council of India Rules, advocates are prohibited from engaging in any other employment to generate income. Additionally, section 49(1)(c) of the Advocates Act, 1961 restricts practicing advocates from pursuing full-time employment in other fields."

This development has put Sana Raees Khan in a difficult situation, as she now faces potential repercussions from the legal community for her decision to participate in the reality show.

The Bar Council of India will likely investigate the matter and make a determination on whether her participation in 'Bigg Boss 17' indeed violates established legal and ethical guidelines for advocates.
