Arrest Me, If There Is 1% Truth In Reports: Elvish Yadav's First Reaction To Rave Party Controversy

'Bigg Boss' OTT winner Elvish Yadav has given his first response to the reports of him, accusing his involvement in a rave party where some individuals supposedly consumed snake venom. He also slammed BJP leader Maneka Gandhi, whose NGO lodged a complaint against him and five others.

Denying all the allegations, Yadav, in a video shared on X, said, "I woke up to the news of Elvish Yadav got arrested...all these reports are fake. Not even 1 per cent truth is there in those reports. I will cooperate with the UP Police and if they find one per cent of my involvement in the case I will take full responsibility."

He also requested the media to not defame him without credible evidence against him.

The Noida Police has arrested five people for the alleged use of snake venom at a rave party besides booking 'Bigg Boss' OTT winner Elvish Yadav.

The cops have recovered nine snakes the arrestees, who had landed at a banquet hall in Sector 51 on Thursday for the party, which was a trap laid by an animal rights group -- People for Animals (PFA), PTI reported citing officials.

In the FIR, complainant Gaurav Gupta of PFA, run by BJP parliamentarian Maneka Gandhi, claimed that his group had come to know that Yadav, a Youtuber, used to make videos with live snakes and snake venom in Noida and other parts of NCR with his associates and illegally organised rave parties.

Meanwhile, BJP MP Maneka Gandhi said, "This is a grade 1 crime, seven years in jail, a wildlife crime. King cobras die when their venom is taken out. Their venom is for digesting food. Without the venom, they can't eat anything and thus they die. There are very few cobras and pythons in the country. It is a crime to own them, catch them or use them,"

She demanded the immediate arrest of Yadav.

Responding to Elvish Yadav's claims that he is innocent, Gandhi said, "That's why he is absconding?" "People do anything to remain in the headlines," Maneka Gandhi said.

"Snake venom leads to liver and kidney failure and then the brain becomes dizzy. So you feel dizzy," Maneka Gandhi stated.
