'Arcane' Season 2 Official Teaser, Release Month Announced, Other Details

The official Netflix channel just recently posted a teaser trailer for season 2 of their animated series 'Arcane', which is expected to release sometime in November, 2024.

The trailer description doesn't say much about the upcoming season, with the only real line written below being 'Know your enemy....'. Read more to learn about the upcoming season 2 of the animated series.

Plot Details Of The Series:

'Arcane's story is based in the world of popular online player-versus-player based game 'League of Legends' which was released all the back in 2009. The plot follows the backstory of many of the characters from within the game, such as Jinx, Vi, Singed, Jayce, Viktor, Heimerdinger and more.

The last episode of Season 1 showed Jinx blowing up the council of Piltover, the big city where all the characters resided. Season 2 will cover the aftermath of that event, where the police of the city plan to hunt down Jinx, take down any loyal members of her gang, and bring down the illegal substance shimmer that has been portrayed as a magical steroid that gives the person consuming it power but also makes them mutate in a grotesque fashion.

Season 2 of Arcane is set to be the final season of the series, but according to one of the co-creators, it's not the final story from League of Legends that the duo Christian Linke and Alex Yee plan to cover.

The new season will see the recurring characters of Vi, voice acted by Hailee Steinfeld, and Jinx, played by Ella Summer Purnell.

Other notable cast members include Katie Leung, Kevin Alejandro, Jason Spisak, Toks Olagundoye, and more.
