Arbaaz Khan Calls Firing Incident Outside Galaxy 'Disturbing, Unnerving' For Salman Khan Family

A day after the gun-firing incident outside Bollywood star Salman Khan's house, his brother and actor Arbaaz Khan took to social media to share what family is going through. In a post, Arbaaz Khan said it was a shocking and disturbing incident for the entire family and they have been taken aback. Arbaaz also expressed complete faith in the state's law and order and Maharashtra Police stating an investigation has been launched and the family is co-operating with the investigating team.

"The recent incident of firing by two unidentified people on a motorcycle at Galaxy apartment, the residence of the Salim Khan family, is very disturbing and unnerving. Our family has been taken aback by this shocking incident," Arbaaz Khan said in a statement.

The actor and filmmaker also stated that some people are giving loose statements in media just to get attention but the family has nothing to do with them and remains unaffected.

Arbaaz added "No member of the Salim Khan family has made any statement regarding the incident as they can not disclose or leak any details regarding the case.

" We have faith in the Mumbai police and we have been assured they will do everything in their capacity to protect and secure our family. Thank you everyone for your love and support," Arbaaz's statement on Instagram reads.

According to the reports, two unidentified men, who came on a bike, fired four rounds outside the Galaxy Apartments on Sunday when Salma Khan was home. After the incident, police beefed up security outside the actor's house.

Reportedly, gangster Lawrance Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi has claimed responsibility for the firing.
