Police say Akash was stopped at the Kashi Toll Plaza on the Delhi-Meerut Expressway when officials noticed the suspicious sticker. He was taken into custody and the vehicle has been seized. Reports suggest that while in custody, Akash tried contacting several political leaders in Delhi to seek help. He is scheduled to be produced in court on Monday.

When vehicles with MP stickers were asked to stop, some drivers reportedly attempted to break through the toll barrier. However, police managed to intercept two Scorpios and two Thars involved in the incident.
