Anil Kapoor To Replace Salman Khan As Bigg Boss OTT 3 Host

Salman Khan will reportedly not be hosting the third season of Bigg Boss OTT. According to a recent post by the popular X handle 'The Khabri', Anil Kapoor has been selected to host Bigg Boss OTT 3 instead of Salman. The post read, "#AnilKapoor to host the new season of #BiggBossOTT3."

No confirmation has been provided regarding Anil Kapoor replacing Salman Khan as the Bigg Boss OTT host, but the news has upset fans of the reality show. One user wrote, "No Bigg Boss without Salman," while another added, "This will reduce your TRP." A fan suggested that Karan Johar, who hosted Bigg Boss OTT 1, could have been a "better option," as reported by News 18.

Anil Kapoor To Replace Salman Khan

In April this year, Bigg Boss' production house Endemol Shine India announced Bigg Boss OTT 3 on its official Instagram handle. A poster featuring Salman pointing towards the audience and asking, "Who do you want to see in Bigg Boss OTT," was shared. However, the post was later deleted.

Meanwhile, this development coincides with news of a firing incident outside Salman Khan's Mumbai apartments. On April 14, gunshots were fired outside Khan's Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, Mumbai. It was later reported that the Lawrence Bishnoi gang was allegedly behind the attack, with the gangster's brother, Anmol Bishnoi, claiming responsibility for the shooting incident via a Facebook post.

The firing case is under investigation by a team of Mumbai police, and five accused have been arrested so far. Earlier this month, one of the arrested individuals, Anuj Thapan, allegedly died by suicide in Mumbai Police custody. While the police claimed that Thapan killed himself in prison, his family alleged foul play and asserted that he was murdered, as reported by News 18.

Recently, Devendra Budiya, President of the All India Bishnoi Society, issued a statement suggesting that Salman Khan's apology could be considered if he seeks forgiveness. Budiya told IANS, as quoted by Pinkvilla, "If Salman himself apologizes, the Bishnoi society will consider the apology. The mistake was not made by Somy Ali, but it was committed by Salman."

He further elaborated that Salman should propose to the Bishnoi society his intent to apologize, come to the temple, seek forgiveness, and take an oath to protect wildlife and conserve the environment. "If he does this, a decision by the society to forgive him will be considered," he added.

However, no official statement has been issued by Salman Khan regarding the firing incident.
