Amid Abhishek-Nimrat Kaur Linkup Rumors, Amitabh Bachchan’s Praise For Dasvi Actor Surfaces

Rumors surrounding the possible divorce of Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai have been making headlines recently. Social media is buzzing with various speculations and cryptic messages, hinting that all may not be well in the Bachchan household.

However, neither the Bachchan family nor Aishwarya have addressed these reports. Amidst these speculations, another rumor emerged claiming that Abhishek Bachchan was involved with actress Nimrat Kaur. As of now, there has been no official comment or confirmation from either party.

Amidst ongoing controversies, a letter from Amitabh Bachchan to Nimrat Kaur has gone viral. Written in 2022, the letter lauded her performance in the film "Dasvi," which also featured Abhishek Bachchan and Yami Gautam. Abhishek received the Best Actor (Male) award at the 2022 Filmfare OTT Awards for his role in the film.

In the heartfelt note, Big B expressed, "Nimrat, we have hardly interacted or met. The last time was when I complimented you at an event at YRF for the Cadbury ad. However, your work in Dasvi is remarkable. My deep admiration and congratulations. Love."

Nimrat shared the letter's photo on her Instagram, reflecting, "Eighteen years ago, when I arrived in Mumbai, I could never have imagined that Mr. Amitabh Bachchan would know me by name, remember our meeting, and appreciate me in a television commercial. Years later, receiving a note and flowers for my contribution to a film felt like a distant dream-perhaps someone else's, but not mine."

Dasvi is a social comedy film directed by debutant Tushar Jalota and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, in collaboration with Jio Studios. The film premiered on Netflix and JioCinema on April 7, 2022.
