Amaran OTT Release: Is It Releasing On Amazon Prime Or Zee5 Or Netflix? Find Out

Defence Minister Rajanath Singh met Sivakarthikeyan and Amaran as the movie turned out to be a big hit at the box office.

Released on October 31, the movie has stuck the chord with all section of audience for its solid content and fantastic performance by Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi.

Amaran Lifetime Box Office Collection

In its lifetime, Amaran has minted over Rs 250 crore at the India box office alone. In Tamil Nadu, it has minted Rs 155.9 crore while earning Rs 25.35 crore in Karnataka. In Andhra and Telangana, it made Rs 49.38 crore while collecting Rs 12.96 crore in Kerala.

From rest of India, it has raked in over Rs 5.5 crore.

Featuring Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan, alongside Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, and Rahul Bose, Amaran draws inspiration from true military stories chronicled in the book series India's Most Fearless by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. Its gripping narrative and standout performances have garnered widespread acclaim, bolstered by strong critical reviews and positive word-of-mouth.

Apart from Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi, Rahul Bose and Bhuvan Arora are part of the cast.

Produced by Kamal Haasan's Raj Kamal International, the film has also earned a big money for the makers from the OTT rights.

Who Owns The OTT Rights & When Will It Release?

Well, the Tamil film will hit the OTT platform on December 5. Well, not in Amazon Prime or Zee5 rather it will be out on Netflix.

The streaming giant has paid Rs 60 crore for the digital rights.
