Amaran OTT Release Date: When Will Sivakarthikeyan's Film Be Released Online?

Sivakarthikeyan's Tamil movie Amaran has emerged as one of the biggest hits at the box office in 2024.

As per the latest buzz, the movie was supposed to be out on Netflix on November 28. However, the release has been delayed.

Give an update about the latest development, journalist Sreedhar Pillai wrote on X: "Exclusive- Huge! #Amaran #OTT streaming pushed by a week! The
@Siva_Kartikeyan blockbuster was supposed to to be streaming 28 days after release. Now seeing its phenomenal run in theatres, #Netflix has pushed the OTT premiere by a week! First time happening for a Tamil film! 👍👌 @RKFI @turmericmediaTM @magizhmandram."

So, when will the new movie be released?

As the movie release is likely to be delayed by a week, the hit Tamil movie is expected to be released on December 5. The movie will be available on multiple langagues.

Amaran Box Office

As per the trade reports, Rajkumar Periasamy-directed Amaran is estimated to have earned Rs 153.75 crore net collection in India. The Tamil version alone has earned over Rs 125 crore across the country. The Telugu version has raked in around Rs 25 crore.

Starring Sivakarthikeyan as Major Mukund Varadarajan, along with Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, and Rahul Bose, the film is inspired by true military accounts from the book series India's Most Fearless by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. The movie has been lauded for its powerful storytelling and impactful performances, leading to positive word-of-mouth and strong critical reviews.
