Amaran Box Office Collection: How Tamil, Kannada, Telugu & Malayalam Versions Have Performed, So Far?

Sivakarthikeyan's Amaran has emerged as a crowd favorite, earning rave reviews from critics and audiences alike. Released with high expectations, the film has delivered on all fronts, reflected in its impressive box office performance.

According to trade reports, Amaran has earned an impressive Rs 107.3 crore in its first five days. The film's net collection stands at Rs 83.10 crore, driven by strong viewership in Tamil Nadu, which contributed Rs 74.35 crore, followed by Andhra and Telangana at Rs 18.25 crore, Karnataka with Rs 8.45 crore, Kerala at Rs 4.9 crore, and Rs 1.35 crore from other regions across India.

The film's debut day was especially strong, pulling in Rs 21.4 crore. The Tamil version led with Rs 17.45 crore, while the Telugu version brought in Rs 3.8 crore. Smaller contributions came from the Kannada (Rs 20 lakh), Hindi (Rs 12 lakh), and Malayalam (Rs 1 lakh) versions.

On its second day, Amaran kept the momentum going, with a collection of Rs 19.15 crore. The Tamil version once again dominated with Rs 16.15 crore, while the Telugu version secured Rs 2.9 crore. Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam versions contributed Rs 80 lakh, Rs 10 lakh, and Rs 1 lakh, respectively.

The film continued its impressive streak on the third day with Rs 21 crore, followed by an equally strong performance on Sunday (day four), raking in Rs 21.55 crore. On Monday (day five), the collection dipped to Rs 10.15 crore but still maintained a strong overall trajectory.

On Tuesday, Amaran showed encouraging signs of continued success with morning show occupancy at 29.56% and noon shows rising to 45.26%. With its positive word-of-mouth and solid early earnings, Amaran appears well on track to becoming one of the major Tamil cinema successes of 2024.

Amaran is an adaptation of the book series India's Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes. It is biographical action war film on Major Mukund Varadarajan. Directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, the movie is produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India.
