Allu Arjun s Remuneration For Pushpa 2

This has relfects on the brand value of Pushpa and more importantly Allu Arjun who shot to national limelight with the first part of the film. So, how much has been paid to him as remuneration?

Before Pushpa, he was charging around Rs 45-50 crore, but as it was a pan-India film, he was paid Rs 85 crore, as per the reports in the Telugu media.

As the first part of Pushpa turned out to be a blockbuster, Allu Arjun is getting over 200 per cent hike. A report in The Times of India claims that he has been paid Rs 300 crore to enact the role of Pushpa Raj.

Noted filmmaker in one of his tweets today mentioned that Allu Arjun has been paid Rs 287.36 crore to act in the movie. "@alluarjun is being paid not EARTH but a SPACE SHATTERING TWO HUNDRED and EIGHTY SEVEN CRORES and THIRTY SIX LAKHS as his fee for one single film #Pushpa2 which is MEGA times more than MEGA MEGA," the post on X read.

If true, he will be the highest-paid actor in the South Indian film industry. However, the industry insiders feel that it might be an exaggerated figure. Even his contemporary stars like Prabhas got Rs 100 crore for his previous movies like Kalki 2898 AD and Salaar. Junior NTR received Rs 60 crore for his recent movie Devara.

Directed by Sukumar and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Pushpa 2 features Allu Arjun alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, Jagapathi Babu, and others. Originally slated for release in August 2023, the film faced delays but is now ready to take the box office by storm.
