Allu Arjun Gets Notice Over Unauthorised Construction

Actor Allu Arjun has found himself in the spotlight, not for his blockbuster films, but for a civic controversy. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has issued a show-cause notice over an unauthorised construction at his property in Jubilee Hills, warning that the illegal extension could face demolition if not justified.

The notice, served by GHMC Circle-18 officials on Monday, concerns Allu Business Park on Road No. 45, Jubilee Hills. Built two years ago by the actor and his family, the property houses Geetha Arts, Allu Arts-related businesses, and several offices.

According to GHMC, the original approval was for a structure on a 1,226-square-yard plot, comprising two cellars, a ground floor, and four additional floors. However, officials allege that an unlawful extension was recently added to the fourth floor. Circle-18 Deputy Commissioner Sammaiah has initiated an investigation and demanded an explanation for the violation, questioning why the illegal structure should not be demolished.

So far, Allu Arjun and his family have not issued a statement on the matter.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Arjun's latest release Pushpa 2: The Rule, directed by Sukumar, stormed the global box office with earnings of over ₹1,800 crore. The National Award-winning actor is also preparing for his next big project, a sci-fi action film tentatively titled AA22 X A6, directed by Atlee and co-starring Deepika Padukone.

The GHMC's move has sparked debates around construction compliance in Hyderabad's elite neighbourhoods, as fans await Arjun's response.
