Speculation has been rife about the Akkineni family's wedding plans, with rumors suggesting that Akhil Akkineni and his fiancée, Zainab Ravdjee, might tie the knot on the same day as his brother Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala, December 4. However, veteran actor Nagarjuna has put these rumors to rest.

Akhil's Wedding Plans

In an interview with Zoom, Nagarjuna expressed his happiness over Akhil's engagement to Zainab Ravdjee. Describing Zainab as a "lovely girl," he revealed that the couple plans to marry in 2025, not this year. "I am so happy for Akhil. Zainab is a wonderful person, and I'm thrilled they've decided to spend their lives together," he said.

Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita's Big Day

Nagarjuna confirmed that Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala's wedding will take place on December 4 at Annapurna Studios, a location steeped in family history as it was built by his father, Akkineni Nageswara Rao. He mentioned that the couple wanted an intimate ceremony with close family and friends, but the guest list is expected to grow, given the family's many connections.

Naga Chaitanya shared details about his relationship with Sobhita, recalling their first meeting at a work event in Mumbai. "We met at an OTT platform event where both of us had shows launching. It's been a joy getting to know Sobhita and her family over the past few months," he said.

He also expressed excitement for the wedding, saying, "I'm looking forward to all the rituals and seeing both families come together on this special day."

This will be Naga Chaitanya's second marriage. He was previously married to actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu in October 2017, but the couple announced their separation in October 2021 and finalized their divorce in 2022, citing personal differences.
