Akhanda 2 Box Office Collection: Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna in the lead, has completed five days at the box office, with its theatrical run entering Day 6 today, December 17. The Telugu fantasy action thriller, which hit screens on December 12 in both 2D and 3D formats, has registered a solid cumulative total in its opening stretch, according to early box office tracking estimates.

As per figures reported by industry tracker Sacnilk, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam has collected an estimated ₹70.93 crore net in India across all languages over its first five days. The film opened with paid preview shows on Thursday, followed by a strong first Friday that significantly boosted its overall tally.

The film's Day 5 collections stood at approximately ₹8 crore, entirely driven by the Telugu market. On Day 1 (Friday), the movie recorded its highest single-day figure so far, earning around ₹22.5 crore across languages, with Telugu accounting for the bulk of the revenue. Smaller contributions came from Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam versions.

Collections saw a drop on Saturday, with Day 2 bringing in an estimated ₹15.5 crore, reflecting a decline of over 30 percent compared to Friday. Sunday numbers remained largely stable, with Day 3 earnings reported at around ₹15.1 crore. However, as expected for a weekday, the film witnessed a sharper fall on Monday, collecting approximately ₹5.25 crore on Day 4.

On Day 5 (Tuesday), Akhanda 2 earned an estimated ₹4.58 crore, based on early and rough data, taking its five-day India net total to ₹70.93 crore. While the weekday trend indicates a slowdown, the film has managed to hold a reasonable share in its core Telugu-speaking regions.
