Ajith's 'Good Bad Ugly: Big Update At 6.31 PM Today

A normal Sunday has become a special one for the fans of Ajith as the makers of his upcoming movie 'Good Bad Ugly' have given an update about the movie.

Well, what is it? The makers of the Tamil flick have announced the date of the movie release. Yes, 'Good Bad Ugly' will be released for Pongal 2025.

Mythri Movie Makers is funding the project for which Abinandhan Ramanujam has been roped in as a director of photography. Popular Telugu musician Devi Sri Prasad is the music director while Vijay Velukutty will be the editor.

The shooting of the movie will commence in June.

Talking about the project, producer Naveen Yerneni of Mythri Movie Makers had earlier said, "It's an honour to collaborate with the iconic star Ajith Kumar sir. Director Adhik Ravichandran's script and narration were so riveting from the word go. We are excited to materialize a gripping and engrossing cinematic experience for the fans and film lovers."

Producer Y Ravi Shankar said that it was a delight to collaborate with Ajith Kumar. "Adhik's directorial craftsmanship has been very much evident with his previous films, and this one has ingredients that will take him to the next level," he stated.

On his turn, director Adhik Ravichandran said, "There are priceless moments in everyone's life and career, and this one is beyond my belief. Working with my matinee idol AK sir has been a long cherished dream and I'm emotionally overwhelmed working with him. I thank producers Naveen Yerneni sir and Ravi Shankar sir for this opportunity."

Going by the earlier reports, Ajith, who is fondly called as Thala by his fans, will be seen in triple roles.

The title, meaning "three different natures," hints at Ajith's triple role in the film, with the versatile actor preparing to portray three distinct characters.

Ajith last played a triple role in KS Ravikumar's 'Varalaru,' released in 2006, where he portrayed a father and his two identical sons. His exceptional performance earned him the Tamil Nadu State Award. Although Ajith has taken on dual roles in several films, the last being in the 2010 Tamil release 'Aasal,' he is now set to return to multiple roles with 'Good Bad Ugly.'

Meanwhile, Ajith Kumar will be next seen in Magizh Thirumeni's 'VidaaMuyarchi'. The movie has Arjun Sarja, Trisha Krishnan, Regina Cassandra and others in the cast.
