Ajith's Remuneration For Good Bad Ugly: How Much Did Makers Pay Thala?
Ajith Kumar's Vidaamuyarchi might be have failed to set the box office fire, but that hasn't stopped him from commanding jaw-dropping fees. The actor, who is fondly called by fans as Thala, is back with a bang in his next flick Good Bad Ugly - and he's reportedly taken home an even fatter paycheck this time around.
If reports are to be believed, Ajith was paid a massive Rs 105 crore for Vidaamuyarchi, a film that sadly didn't match expectations and is now staring at a commercial washout. The movie had all the makings of a comeback hit after a two-year break, but things didn't quite pan out the way fans hoped.

How Much Did Makers Pay Ajith For Good Bad Ugly?
But here's where it gets interesting - despite Vidaamuyarchi underperforming, Ajith has upped his fee for his next outing. Word on the street is that the star has bagged a staggering Rs 110 crore for Good Bad Ugly, making it one of the biggest paydays in Tamil cinema right now. That's Thala power for you!
The buzz is building already as Good Bad Ugly gears up to hit the big screens on April 19. Advance bookings have quietly kicked off in cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, and a few other key centres, with fans eager to see Ajith back in action.
The film is directed by Adhik Ravichandran, known for his flashy style and quirky storytelling. This time, he brings a dose of action-comedy to the table, with Trisha Krishnan playing the female lead. The film also boasts a pretty loaded supporting cast including Prabhu, Arjun Das, Prasanna, Sunil, Usha Uthup, and Rahul Dev.
Behind the scenes, the technical crew is equally solid - GV Prakash Kumar is composing the tunes, Abinandhan Ramanujam is handling the visuals, and Vijay Velukutty is in charge of the cuts.
With all eyes on Good Bad Ugly, and Ajith's soaring remuneration becoming a hot topic again, fans and trade watchers alike are hoping this one delivers the goods - both creatively and commercially. After all, when Thala's on screen, expectations are always sky-high.
