Ajaz Khan Booked for Rape After 30-Year-Old Woman Alleges False Promise of Film Break

Actor Ajaz Khan has been booked following a rape complaint filed by a 30-year-old woman, who alleges that he sexually assaulted her under the false promise of helping her find work in the film industry. The FIR was registered at Charkop police station on Sunday.

According to police officials, the woman claimed Khan exploited her trust and assaulted her on multiple occasions at different locations. She said she believed his assurances about getting a break in films, but was repeatedly tricked and sexually assaulted instead. The case has been registered under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita pertaining to rape.

This isn't Khan's first brush with the law. He was previously named in another case involving objectionable content in the web series House Arrest, which aired on the Ullu app. Viral footage from the series showed Khan posing explicit questions to participants, including women, and pressuring them to perform intimate scenes.
