She went on to say that her family chose to stay quiet, letting her father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan address the media after the wedding, providing clarity once and for all.

Reflecting further, Aishwarya expressed her disbelief at the global curiosity over such rumors. "It's shocking," she remarked. "When you travel abroad and engage with international media, they begin to question the absurdity, like, 'You got married to a tree, and you have this huge curse on you?' It was surreal. You just think, 'Oh my god, where do I even start?'"

Aishwarya and Abhishek's relationship began on the sets of Dhoom 2, and they got engaged while filming Guru, with Abhishek proposing to her.
