For much of last year, actors Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan found themselves in the spotlight due to divorce rumours.

While the couple remained tight-lipped, various headlines circulated, accusing Abhishek of infidelity and suggesting the pair were living separately. The situation seemed more alarming when Abhishek was absent from the birthday post Aishwarya shared for their daughter, Aaradhya Bachchan.

However, when the couple attended Aaradhya's annual day at school together, fans began to question if the divorce rumours were indeed unfounded. It seems the couple wasn't fazed by the speculation, as they rang in the New Year together this week, appearing as one happy family.

Earlier today, videos of the Bachchans went viral on social media as they returned home from their New Year holiday.

Abhishek Bachchan walked ahead, with his wife and daughter following closely behind. The three were all smiles as they wished the paparazzi a Happy New Year while heading to their car.

In one video, Aaradhya Bachchan hopped, briefly startling her mother. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan asked if her daughter had been pushed, only to realise that the star child was simply messing around as the teenager she is. The cute clip has since left the internet gushing over the happy star kid.

In the comments, many netizens expressed that Aaradhya was overjoyed because her parents were together, like a happy family.

One user commented, "She's happy, because her parents are back together😍😍😍," while another fan gushed, "Sab se zyada toh woh bachi hai ...she is jumping out of happiness. Finally parents ek sath."

Another internet user joked, "That jump lol Aaradhya is a real-life embodiment of Aishwarya's emojis," and another said, "Whatever the reason, I am happy for Aaradhya. She gets to spend time with her dad, and it's so nice to see her with both her parents."

On the work front, Abhishek was last seen on the big screen as a girl dad in Shoojit Sircar's 'I Want to Talk' (2024). He also has 'Housefull 5' in the pipeline.
