After Salman Khan's Firing Incident, Security Beefed Up For Shah Rukh Khan

Days after the firing outside actor Salman Khan's house, the security of another superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been heightened.

In clips posted by the actor's fan clubs, he is seen being escorted by armed guards, police, and airport security as he left Kolkata late last night following the completion of the KKR and RR match.

As he enters the airport, he is surrounded by armed guards, police, and airport security, the videos show.

On Sunday, the accused persons shot five rounds - one of it hit the wall and another the gallery of Salman Khan's residence.

The Mumbai Police arrested two people in connection with the incident in Gujarat's Kutch district. The accused are identified as Vicky Gupta (24) and Sagar Pal (21).

At the time of the incident, Vicky was driving a motorcycle, with Sagar riding pillion, purportedly firing at the actor's house, stated a police official.

During the investigation into the matter, a Facebook post claiming responsibility for the shooting emerged. The post was allegedly uploaded by Anmol Bishnoi, the younger brother of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.

On Wednesday, a man was apprehended from Haryana regarding the shooting outside Salman Khan's residence. The individual was connected to one of the two arrested suspects, maintaining constant communication before and after the incident, an official told PTI.
