After Diljit Dosanjh, Punjabi Pop Singer Karan Aujla Faces Promoting Alcohol Charges; FIR Lodged
Punjabi singer Karan Aujla, known for his hit song 'Tauba Tauba' from the film 'Bad News' starring Vicky Kaushal, is gearing up for a musical tour. This tour, named 'It Was All a Dream Tour', will kick off in Chandigarh on December 7. Despite his success, Aujla faces challenges as a complaint has been filed against him before the concerts begin.
Professor Panditrao Dharnevar has lodged a complaint against Aujla's upcoming concerts. The professor claims that some of Aujla's songs promote negative themes like alcohol, drugs, and violence. He specifically requested that tracks such as Chitta Kurta, Few Days, Adhiya, Bandook, Alcohol 2, and Gangsta not be performed during the concert.A few days ago, Diljit Dosanjh also faced similar allegations of promoting alchohol, guns and violence.

Legal Concerns Surrounding Concerts
Dharnevar has issued a warning that if these songs are performed at the concert, he will pursue legal action. He plans to file a defamation case against the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) and Director General of Police (DGP) of Chandigarh. He holds them accountable for allowing the concert to proceed.
This isn't an isolated incident in the Punjabi music scene. Recently, Diljit Dosanjh also faced legal issues before his Hyderabad concert. The Telangana government sent him a notice regarding songs promoting alcohol.
