After Darshan, Actress Pavithra Gowda Arrested In Murder Case Of Renuka Swamy

After Kannada actor Darshan, his friend and actress Pavithra Gowda has been arrested by cops in a murder case.

Hours after interrogation at the Annapoorneshwari Nagar police station., the cops Darshan and Pavithra Gowda. A total of 13 people have been arrested in connection with the death.

The arrest follows allegations linking Darshan to the death of Renuka Swamy, who allegedly sent lewd messages to actress Pavithra Gowda.

The victim, Renuka Swamy, was employed at a medical store and hailed from Chitradurga. He was kidnapped from his hometown and brought to Bengaluru. He was allegedly murdered at a shed owned by the actor's friend.

His body was later dumped in Sumannahalli.

Addressing the media, B Dayananda, Bengaluru City Commissioner, stated, "The body was discovered on June 9. More than ten individuals have been arrested in connection with this case. An actor has been taken into custody. Further actions will be determined pending investigation."

He further noted, "The deceased, Renukaswamy, was 33 years old. Additional details will be provided as the investigation progresses." Preliminary findings suggest that the deceased had sent offensive messages to Darshan's spouse, added the Bengaluru City Commissioner.

"The arrest was arrested in Mysuru today at 8:30 am by Vijayanagar ACP Chandan. The actor was staying at the Radisson Blu Plaza Hotel in Mysuru for a filming assignment," the senior police official confirmed.
