Actor Pankaj Tripathi's Brother-in-law Dies In Road Accident, Sister Critical

Actor Pankaj Tripathi's sister Sarita Tiwari and brother-in-law Rajesh Tiwari met a tragic road accident on Saturday late evening, according to the reports. The reports added that Pankaj Tripathi's brother-in-law Rajesh Tiwari died on the spot, while his sister Sarita received serious injuries.

The accident reportedly happened near GT Road in Nirsa, after which, locals immediately informed the police and transported Sarita to a nearby hospital.

Later she was referred to Dhanbad Medical College Hospital, where she was admitted to Surgical ICU as her condition is critical.

The reports added that Rajesh Tiwari and Sarita Tiwari were heading to Chittaranjan in West Bengal from Bihar's Gopalganj when their high-speed car (WB44D-2899) rammed into a road divider.

According to the visual from the accident spot, the front of the car was extensively damaged as the impact of the high-speed car crash was very high.

A police official told the media that they rescued Rajesh and Sarita out of the car. Both were unconscious, so police swiftly took them to hospital, where, doctors declared Rajesh brought dead, while Sarita is being treated and her condition is critical for now.

Last year, Pankaj Tripathi had lost his father. At that time, the family said, "It's with a heavy heart to confirm that Pankaj Tripathi's father, Pandit Banaras Tiwari is no more. He lived a wholesome life of 99 years. His last rites will be performed today amongst his close family. Pankaj Tripathi is currently on his way to his village in Gopalganj."
