Recent and Upcoming Projects of Emraan Hashmi

Emraan Hashmi was last seen in Ground Zero, where he played the role of BSF Deputy Commandant Narendra Nath Dube. The film was released on 25 April and received average reviews from critics. It faced box office competition from films like Sunny Deol's Jaat and Akshay Kumar's Kesari 2, both set against the backdrop of India-Pakistan tensions.

Looking ahead, Hashmi has multiple projects in the pipeline. He is set to appear in G2, a Telugu film directed by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi. The movie is a sequel to Goodachari and features Adivi Sesh in the lead role, alongside Wamiqa Gabbi and Madhu Shalini.

Hashmi is also working on an untitled film with Yami Gautam. This film is reportedly inspired by the landmark 1985 Shah Bano case. Emraan will portray Shah Bano's husband, Mohd. Ahmed Khan, who famously refused to pay her maintenance after pronouncing triple talaq.
