Abhishek Bachchan Praises Aishwarya Rai Amid Divorce Rumours

Amid swirling divorce rumours, Abhishek Bachchan has expressed gratitude towards his wife, actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, for being a dedicated and selfless mother. In an interview with The Hindu, Abhishek shared his appreciation for Aishwarya's role in supporting his career and allowing him to focus on his work in films.

Abhishek's Words of Appreciation "I'm very fortunate in my household because I get the opportunity to go out and make movies. But I also know that Aishwarya is at home with Aaradhya, and I am immensely grateful for that," Abhishek said. He emphasized, however, that children don't view their parents in a distant way but rather as the primary figures in their lives.

Reflecting on his own childhood, Abhishek mentioned how he never felt the absence of his parents, even though his father, Amitabh Bachchan, was busy with his career during the 1970s. His mother, Jaya Bachchan, had taken a break from acting to focus on raising him. "We never felt the void of dad not being around. After work, you come home at night, and that's all that matters," he explained.

Aishwarya's Career and Family Life Abhishek and Aishwarya married in 2007, and their daughter, Aaradhya, was born in 2011. Recently, Aaradhya celebrated her 13th birthday with Aishwarya, though Abhishek was not seen in the photos.

After Aaradhya's birth, Aishwarya took a break from acting for four years before returning in 2015 with Jazbaa. She has appeared in a handful of films in recent years, including Sarbjit (2016), Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (2016), Fanney Khan (2018), and the Ponniyin Selvan franchise (2022-23).

On the other hand, Abhishek has several upcoming projects, including Remo D'Souza's Be Happy, Tarun Mansukhani's Housefull 5, and Sujoy Ghosh's King.
