Putting weeks of speculation to rest, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan on Thursday confirmed that he will marry his partner, Gauri Spratt, on July 5. The actor announced the news during a promotional event on Wednesday, revealing that the wedding will be a private affair attended only by close family and friends.

Speaking to the media at the promotional event for Pritam and Pedro, Aamir said the couple have chosen to keep the ceremony intimate and away from the public eye.

"I am getting married on July 5, and the wedding will take place at home with close family and friends. We seek everyone's blessings and hope that we remain happy forever..," he said.

Aamir first introduced Gauri Spratt to the media during the celebrations for his 60th birthday earlier this year, making their relationship public for the first time.

He later confirmed in an interview with Variety India that marriage was on the cards, signalling that the couple were ready to take the next step in their relationship.

Aamir's Third Marriage

The upcoming ceremony will be Aamir Khan's third marriage.

He was previously married to Reena Dutta, with whom he has two children, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan. The couple separated in 2002.

Aamir later married filmmaker Kiran Rao. They have a son, Azad, and announced their separation in 2021 while continuing to work together professionally and co-parent their son.

Who Is Gauri Spratt?

Originally from Bengaluru, Gauri Spratt studied at the University of the Arts London and has worked in the fashion and business sectors. She is currently associated with Aamir Khan Productions and also has a son from her previous marriage.
