3 BHK Movie Review: First Review Of Siddharth's Film Out

Siddharth and R Sarath Kumar's 3 BHK is a coming-of-age family drama, directed by Sri Ganesh. Chaithra J Achar, Devayani, Yogi Babu, Subbu Panchu and Vivek Prasanna are part of the cast.

The film has Amrit Ramnath's music, Ganesh Siva's editing and Dinesh B. Krishnan and Jithin Stanislaus' cinematography.

The Tamil movie will hit the screens on Friday, July 4. However, the movie had an early premiere for the press and movie influencers on Wednesday. Also, actor Simbu aka Silamabaran took X to praise the movie.

In a post, he said, "Just watched #3BHK. A heartfelt beautiful film that takes you on an emotional journey. Warm and well performed #Siddharth @realsarathkumar sir. Congrats and all the best to @sri_sriganesh89 @ShanthiTalkies and the whole team."

Rajasekar: #3BHK - 4 out of 5, A moving drama from @sri_sriganesh89 who has portrayed every middle class family's dream of owning a home (especially people who settled in Chennai). But the film not just talks about that! It beautifully captured the pressure of a middle class young boy, how he had to choose a profession that is completely away from his choice and interest. How he had to postpone his dream again to marry off his sister.

It earnestly tells a story of a young middle class girl ,who had to say yes and stay silent in her in-law's place despite handling psychological abuse, which itself a violence. Earlier, the film also showcases how she sacrifices her education and profession for her family. Above all, it tells the story of a doting dad who had to give up his dream of owning a house for his children's education, marriage and puts his dream above his own health etc.,

After #Chithha, I loved #Siddharth here once again. There are many scenes where he owned the screen with his earnest performance. Also, after a long time he has fit in a role that all of us can relate to! Good to see @realsarathkumar who once again exhibited his realistic performance in 3BHK, I'm liking how Tamil cinema is fully utilising the full potential of Sarathkumar these days!

Personally, his character reminded me of my dad in many ways! Man is underrated performer, we only celebrated him for his mass films not for the performance driven roles!
@RaghunathMeetha 's breakdown scene in the second half talks volumes about her calibre, she is very natural in the film.

Though I don't agree with certain ideas in the second half of the film that might give a false hope for many middle class youngsters, the film has its heart at the right place!

If you are fine with the narration that tells a story without any hurry , go for it!

Haricharan Pudipeddi: #3BHK - 3.75 stars. Such a wholesome movie. About shattered dreams, survival and delayed success. One of those rare films that has at least half a dozen highly relatable moments that'll connect with you on a personal level. For a film that sells the dream of owning a home, it pleasantly surprises you with quite a few touching sub-plots that makes the film even more accessible. So happy for @sri_sriganesh89, who has a definite winner.
