A 24-year-old woman from Delhi, an ardent fan of actor Salman Khan, recently caused a commotion outside Khan's farmhouse in Panvel Taluka, Times Of India reported.

The police detained the woman and later took her to the Social and Evangelical Association for Love (SEAL) for counselling. SEAL's founder, KM Philip, noted that the woman was fixated on marrying Khan, driven by her admiration for his screen persona. She was admitted to MGM Hospital in Kalamboli for psychiatric treatment.

The woman’s mother was called from Delhi to assist in her treatment. After eight days of care and psychological counselling, the woman realised her mistake and expressed willingness to return home.

"I have been watching Salman films since childhood, and innocently thought I could marry him. Now, after coming to Panvel and undergoing all this (treatment), I have realised that I was wrong. He (Salman) is living his own life, and is not the same as what he does in films," the woman said.

Meanwhile, the Navi Mumbai police arrested four members of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for allegedly planning to order weapons from a Pakistani arms dealer to attack Salman Khan's car in Panvel, Maharashtra.

The accused had conducted surveillance on Salman Khan's residence and farmhouse. Ajay Kashyap, one of the accused, spoke with an individual named Dogar in Pakistan via video call. Weapons such as AK-47 rifles were sourced from Pakistan with the intention of attacking Salman Khan. Law enforcement received intelligence that approximately 60 to 70 members affiliated with Lawrence Bishnoi and Sampat Nehra's gang, hailing from Mumbai, Raigad, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, and Gujarat, had been monitoring the actor.
