UKPSC Lecturer Recruitment 2026: 808 Vacancies Announced for Govt Colleges

The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) has invited online applications for Lecturer posts in government colleges across the state. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website psc.uk.gov.in.

The application process started on December 31, 2025, and will remain open until January 20, 2026. Through this recruitment drive, UKPSC aims to fill 808 Lecturer vacancies, including 725 posts in the General Branch and 83 posts in the Women's Branch.

Selection Process

The selection of candidates will be carried out in two stages:

The written test will be conducted for several subjects, including:
Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Civics, Economics, History, Geography, Sociology, Commerce, Arts, Agriculture, Home Science, and other notified disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree in the relevant subject

A B.Ed or L.T. Diploma from a recognised institution is mandatory

Minimum age: 21 years

Maximum age: 42 years

Age relaxation will be applicable for SC, ST, OBC, and other reserved categories as per government norms
