The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is expected to announce the KCET Results 2026 shortly, bringing relief to lakhs of students awaiting admission to engineering, pharmacy and agricultural science courses across Karnataka.

Students who appeared for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 can check and download their scorecards from the official KEA websites using their application number and login details.

Type the first four letters of your name exactly as mentioned on the hall ticket

How Is KCET Rank Calculated?

For engineering admissions, the KCET rank is prepared by giving equal weightage to marks scored in the entrance examination and Class 12 board exams.

The final merit ranking is calculated based on:

50% weightage to Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) marks obtained in the Second PUC/Class 12 examination
50% weightage to marks secured in the KCET entrance exam

KEA will release the detailed rank list along with subject-wise scores and overall rankings.

Counselling Process To Begin Soon

Following the result announcement, KEA will begin the counselling and document verification process for eligible students.

To guide students and parents through the admission process, KEA has organised a special awareness programme called "KEA Manthan 2026" from May 25 to May 30.

The document verification process is expected to begin within a few days after the declaration of results.

Option Entry Likely In First Week of June

KEA will also open the online counselling portal in the first week of June. Through the option entry process, students will be able to select their preferred colleges and courses based on their ranks and eligibility.

Admissions to engineering, pharmacy, agriculture and allied professional courses across Karnataka will be conducted through this centralised counselling process.
