CTET 2026 Answer Key Update: Steps To Download CTET Answer Keys and Process To Raise Objection

The Central Board of Secondary Education is expected to release the CTET Answer Key 2026 for the February session shortly on the official website, ctet.nic.in. Candidates who appeared for the exam are closely tracking the update, as the answer key will help them estimate scores and assess their chances in upcoming teacher recruitment drives.

The 21st edition of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test was conducted on 7 and 8 February 2026 across multiple centres nationwide. The exam was held in two shifts each day for Paper I (Classes I-V) and Paper II (Classes VI-VIII).

CTET Answer Key 2026: Expected release

As per previous trends, CBSE is likely to publish the provisional CTET Answer Key 2026 in the third or fourth week of February. Separate answer keys will be issued for Paper I and Paper II, covering all sets of question booklets used during the examination.

Along with the answer key, candidates' scanned OMR response sheets are also expected to be released. These will allow examinees to cross-check their marked responses and calculate probable scores using the official marking scheme before the declaration of results.

Candidates will be able to access the answer key only through login on ctet.nic.in. The steps include visiting the website, clicking on the CTET Answer Key 2026 link, logging in with roll number and date of birth, and downloading both the answer key PDF and the OMR response sheet.

Objection window and final answer key

After the provisional answer key is released, CBSE will open a limited objection window. Candidates can challenge any discrepancy by submitting documentary proof and paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000 per question. Subject experts will review all valid objections, and corrections, if any, will be reflected in the final answer key. CTET 2026 results will be prepared strictly on the basis of this final version.
