According to a news report, two accused slit the victim's throat before setting her on fire, then they dumped her body in nearby Radi jungle and fled away with her mobile phone and jewellery.

Accused Amardeep was known to girl and he lured her by promising marriage.

Both the accused have been arrested, police said, adding that the girl had gone missing on December 30.

When the victim asked Amardeep for marriage, he along-with Shah, slit her throat, poured petrol on her body and set her on fire.

The accused were caught when police tracked victim's missing mobile phone.
