Mission 2014: Rahul Gandhi to address rally in Dehradun

Amid strengthened security, Rahul will kickstart rally at Parade Ground in Dehradun, just few months before the Lok Sabha elections 2014.
Thousands of police personnel have been deployed in the area and CCTV cameras have been installed at the venue, to maintain strict vigil.
On Saturday, the newly-elected state Chief Minister Harish Rawat visited the Parade Ground to take stock of the security arrangements.
Before addressing the crowd, Rahul is scheduled to meet Rawat and discuss about relief and rehabilitation work in the calamity-hit areas of the state.
It may be recalled that in January 2012, a shoe was hurled at the Congress scion Rahul Gandhi, while addressing a rally in Dehradun, ahead of assembly elections in Uttarakhand.
