Coimbatore Woman Claims Kishore Faked Marriage, Pursued Another Relationship

In Coimbatore, a young woman has filed a complaint against a man named Kishore, alleging deception under the guise of marriage. The woman, an IT professional, claims that Kishore tied a sacred thread around her neck in a hotel room in Pollachi, symbolising marriage. However, he later abandoned her and pursued another relationship.

The woman, aged 26 and residing in Peelamedu, reported the incident to both the Coimbatore East All Women Police Station and the City Police Commissioner's office. She recounted how she met Kishore at a gym and they became friends. Kishore then gifted her a ring and professed his love.

According to the woman's account, two years ago, Kishore performed a marriage ritual by tying a sacred thread in a hotel room. Following this, he allegedly coerced her into a physical relationship. When she became pregnant, Kishore distanced himself and began seeing another woman.

The woman further alleged that Kishore's sister, Yazhini, pressured her to terminate the pregnancy. Yazhini reportedly suggested using online resources to find medication for abortion and threatened not to accept the child into their family.

Despite providing video evidence of the marriage ritual and their close interactions, the woman claimed no action was initially taken by the police. Frustrated by this inaction, she approached higher authorities with her complaint.

The police have now registered a Community Service Register (CSR) based on her complaint and are conducting an investigation into the matter. Meanwhile, videos of Kishore with the complainant at various locations have surfaced on social media.

The videos showing Kishore performing the marriage ritual in the hotel room have gone viral online. This has drawn significant attention to the case and increased public scrutiny over such deceptive practices.
