AP: Mandal Engineering Officer arrested while taking bribe
Vizianagaram (AP), Aug 5: A Mandal Engineering Officer was today arrested by the anti-corruption bureau while taking a bribe.
U Yesu Ratnam was arrested by the ACB when he demanded and accepted bribe of Rs 20,000 from Kannampeta sarpanch B Ramakrishna at Bobbil Guest House for processing bills of Rs 5.6 lakh related to MNREGS works.
ACB DSP Ch Lakshmi Pathi said Ratnam will be produced before ACB court at Visakhapatnam tomorrow.
