Weekend Spoiler: Power Cuts In These Areas In Chennai On Saturday

Several areas in Chennai will suffer power outages, as per the Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation (TANGEDCO).

The TANGEDCO is carrying out routine maintenance work due to which some areas might be affected with power cuts between 9 am to 2 pm.

However, the power supply is likely to be restored if the authorities finish off the works as per their plans.

Poonamallee Rukmani Nagar, Melma Nagar, Sumithra Nagar, Vaithi Nagar and surrounding areas will be hit by power supply.

On Friday, The areas that witnessed power outages in IT Corridor were: Siruseri SIPCOT, Sholinganallur Uma Maheswari Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, Model School Road and surrounding areas.

JB Nagar, Jothi Nagar, Srisakthi Nagar, Ganapathy Nagar, Kaligambal Nagar, Sathiyamoorthy Nagar, Santhi Nagar, Police Quarters and surrounding areas also experienced power shutdown.
