Vote or else don't complain, Shah Rukh Khan says ahead of May 16 poll in Tamil Nadu

Chennai, May 9: Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan on Sunday (May 8) said in an interview to The New Indian Express that people should go out and vote for the party of their preference or else they should not complain about it. He asked both the elderly and the younger people to vote.

Khan said this an interview when asked about the May 16 election in Tamil Nadu.

"...go and vote, choose the people that you want, and then complain if you want to. You can't complain about something you were not part of," Khan said in the interview.

Khan was attending the 20th foundation day celebration at the Hyundai plant in Sriperumbudur in the southern state. [Know results in TN polls: 1952-2011]

The 50-year-old superstar also spoke on the ongoing Indian Premier League and the drought condition in Maharashtra.
