The Koyambedu Wholesale Market Complex in Chennai saw continued fluctuations in vegetable prices due to varying factors such as supply, demand, and seasonal changes on Saturday.

Key price movements include a decrease in the cost of raw mango, which fell by Rs 20 from August 28, now priced at Rs 160. In contrast, Ooty carrot, beans, radish, and lemon each saw a rise of Rs 10. Ooty carrot is now priced at Rs 110, beans at Rs 70, radish at Rs 25, and lemon at Rs 170, as per DTNext website.

Several vegetables witnessed a price drop: brinjal, green chillies, drumsticks, and ginger all decreased by Rs 5. Brinjal and drumstick are now selling at Rs 25 each, green chillies at Rs 35, and ginger at Rs 104. Meanwhile, yam saw a slight increase of Rs 5, reaching Rs 65.
