Udhay Anna; a Blessing in Disguise for Pappathy

Ms. Pappathy, a visually challenged lady, asked Udhayanidhi Stalin for government assistance due to her family's catastrophic poverty. Pappathy, a proficient athlete, has a history of participating in several national and international tournaments. On probing aid from Udhayanidhi; she has been expeditiously offered a temporary position in the government office.

When interviewed, Pappathy acknowledged her honest feelings, saying, "I am speaking honestly, sir. I never anticipated receiving immediate employment. Udhay Anna has become the solution to my concerns. He has granted me a fresh start and a newfound hope."

"I was born and raised in a small village near Perambalur, where my father, Chinnaswamy, works as a farmer," she added. My mother and Mrs. Senthamilch are the sole breadwinners in our household. We are from a family with low incomes.

Due to economic hardships, my parents struggled to provide for me and my two younger sisters. Our family has been experiencing issues with finances, and my visual disability prevents me from working like everyone else.

Understanding this, I recognized the value of education from an early age as a tool for lifting us out of our circumstances. Because absolutely nobody else in our family pursued higher education, I became the first graduate in our family. However, our family's financial constraints hampered my academic pursuits. Despite these obstacles, I have always been interested in sports and have won medals at both the national and international levels.

As I kept up with the news, I saw that Udhayanidhi Stalin had been appointed Sports Minister. As a result of this, I decided to make a request to him. I was unsure how to approach and meet him because I knew nothing about his workplace or whereabouts.

The people around me suggested that I embark to the headquarters, where I might be able to meet him. With this strategy in mind, I traveled to Chennai and met Udhayanidhi Anna.

Meeting him was considerably easier than I had anticipated. The authorities at the office listened intently to my request. On that exact day, they arranged for me to visit Minister Udhay Anna, who instantly offered to obtain an official position for me.

The officials have been in contact with me on a regular basis since that day. They quickly finished all of the appropriate procedures and gave me the job within a week.

We have issued a work order for her to work as an office assistant at the Tamilnadu Sports Development Authority through the Secretariat's Outsourcing system. My sincere greetings to my sister."

"In an immediate response to the demand made by sportsperson and visually impaired sister Pappathy, we have issued a temporary appointment order today for the position of Office Assistant in the Tamil Nadu Sports Department," he continues in his subsequent tweet. This job will provide her the confidence she needs to confront life, as well as important support. Congratulations, she merits it."
