Vijay is all set to send a message to the ruling DMK and other parties at the second state conference of his newly-founded Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) in Madurai.

The party has left no stone unturned to make the second conference much bigger than the first conference which was held last year at Villupuram.

The event, called as Maanaadu 2.0, has drawn lakhs of Vijay's fans and party cadres to Parapathi district in Madurai.

The grand event will officially kick off at 3.30 pm and is scheduled to conclude by 7.30 pm. The opening session will feature traditional folk performances such as Karakattam, Oilattam, and Silambattam by artists from Madurai and Thanjavur, setting the tone for the evening's proceedings.

Vijay is expected to address the crowd around 4 pm. His speech is widely expected to be the highlight of the event, where he may take on his political critics and galvanise supporters ahead of the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly elections.

Security has been tightened with 3,000 police personnel, 2,000 private security guards, and 300 women bouncers deployed to ensure smooth conduct.

Vijay, who reached Madurai last evening by road from Chennai, is staying at a star hotel near Chintamani ahead of his big day. The venue is decorated with images of Anna, MGR, and Vijay, and slogans declaring the return of "Vaigai's political history."

The evening will end with Vijay's keynote speech, which party sources say could contain major announcements and resolutions, making this conference a milestone not just for TVK but also for Tamil Nadu's political landscape.
