TNEA 2024 Applications Open Now: How To Apply For Engineering Colleges In Tamil Nadu?
The registration for Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2024 (TNEA 2024) has commenced online on Monday. The last date for completing the application process is on June 6.
The pathway to BE/BTech programs in the state is facilitated through the online counselling system, TNEA, making it the conduit for the aspirations of Tamil Nadu's youth to pursue engineering careers.

There is no entrance exam following the TNEA application; instead, seats are allocated based on 10+2 marks. Admission to engineering courses is offered based on merit after TNEA counselling. The Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE), Tamil Nadu, oversees the TNEA process.
According to the TNEA information brochure, a merit list will be compiled based on marks attained in the relevant subjects: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. These marks will be standardized to a total of 200 (Maths - 100, Physics - 50, and Chemistry - 50).
Furthermore, applicants will be categorized according to their rank, and each group will have the opportunity to participate in counselling sessions sequentially.
TNEA 2024 counselling is scheduled to occur in four rounds. To engage in various activities during a specific round, applicants must log in to the TNEA portal using their user ID and password, which were used during registration.
