TN 10th Public Exam Time Table 2025: Check Tamil Nadu's Class 10 (SSLC) Exam Dates
TN Class 10 Public Exam Time Table 2025: The Tamil Nadu SSLC (Class 10) board exams for 2025 are set to be held from March 28 to April 15. According to an official announcement made in October 2024, students will appear for their public examinations over a span of nearly three weeks.
The Part-I Language paper is Tamil for the state board. Since it is the first paper, students should ensure they arrive at the examination center well in advance to avoid any delays.

After a brief gap, the Part-II English exam will be conducted on April 2, 2025. This paper assesses students' proficiency in English, including comprehension, grammar, and writing skills.
Following this, on April 4, 2025, students will appear for the Optional Language exam (Hindi, Sanskrit, French, or Telugu, or others).
On April 7, 2025, the Part-III Mathematics exam will take place. Mathematics is considered one of the most crucial subjects, requiring students to prepare thoroughly. The paper includes algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and other topics, with a mix of objective and descriptive questions.
The Part-III Science exam is scheduled for April 11, 2025. This subject includes Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
The final exam in the series, Part-III Social Science, will be held on April 15, 2025. This subject covers History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, requiring students to memorize important dates, concepts, and definitions.
Practical Exams and Results Announcement
Before the written exams, students will undertake their practical exams from February 22 to February 28, 2025. These exams assess hands-on skills in subjects like Science, Computer Applications, and vocational studies.
Once all exams are completed, the results are expected to be announced in May 2025. Students should keep an eye on official notifications for the exact date.
The exams will be conducted in the morning session from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM. The first 10 minutes are allocated for reading the question paper, followed by 5 minutes for verification of details, and then the actual writing time begins.

Reading Time Before Exam: A 10-minute window is allotted before writing begins for students to read the question paper and strategize their answers.
The SSLC exam spans a total of 3 hours, with the first 10 minutes designated for reading the question paper and an additional 5 minutes for verifying details before beginning the test.
