Tamil Nadu SSLC Results Declared: 8.18 Lakh Students Passed, Girls Outperform Boys
The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations on Friday announced the results for the Class 10 (SSLC).
In the Class 10 examination, out of 894,264 students, a total of 818,743 people have passed, marking a pass rate of 91.55 per cent. This year's pass rate shows a slight increase compared to last year's 91.39 per cent.

Among the examinees, 422,591 were female students, and 396,152 of them passed, achieving a pass rate of 94.53 per cent. In contrast, the pass rate for male students stood at 88.58 per cent. Once again, girls outperformed boys in pass percentage, maintaining their lead from previous years.
Eight students scored centum in Tamil, 415 excelled in English, and an impressive 20,691 students attained full marks in Mathematics.
Ariyalur district claimed the top spot with a remarkable 97.31 per cent pass rate, closely followed by Sivagangai at 97.02 per cent and Ramanathapuram at 96.02 per cent.
Statewide, 4,105 schools achieved a cent per cent pass rate, including 1,364 government institutions.
Among the examinees, 13,510 students with disabilities participated, with an impressive 92.45 per cent pass rate. Similarly, out of 260 prisoners who took the Class 10 exams, 228 passed, marking an 87.69% pass rate.
Schools under tribal welfare departments also demonstrated commendable performance, achieving a pass rate of 92.45 per cent.
This year's class 10 exams, spanning from March 26 to April 8, drew a remarkable turnout, with an impressive nine lakh students participating. The exams were conducted statewide, and facilitated by over 4,000 examination centres established by the Directorate of Government Examinations.
A total of 910,024 students from 12,616 schools participated in the exams, including 457,525 boys, 452,498 girls, and one transgender student. Additionally, 28,827 students, among them 235 prisoners, sat for the exams as private candidates.
In Chennai alone, an estimated 67,000 students are slated to take the board exams, distributed across 296 centers.

- Locate the link labeled "Class 10 Examination Results" and click on it.
- Enter your registration number and date of birth (ensure the date of birth follows the format: dd/mm/yyyy).
- Upon submission, a new page will appear.
- You can now view your exam result and download it as a PDF file for printing, if necessary.
To successfully pass the TN SSLC board exams, students must achieve a minimum score of 35 in each subject, with at least 20 out of 75 marks in theory and 15 out of 25 marks in the practical section.
