Tamil Nadu SSLC 2024 Results On Friday: How To Check Class 10 Marks Online?

The Tamil Nadu Directorate of Government Examinations will declare the results for the Class 10 (SSLC) on Friday, May 10.

Conducted from March 26 to April 8, the Class 10 exams saw an overwhelming participation of nine lakh students in 2024. Spread across the state, over 4,000 examination centers were established by the Directorate of Government Examinations.

This year, a total of 9,10,024 students from 12,616 schools took part in the exams, with 4,57,525 boys, 4,52,498 girls, and one transgender student. Also, 28,827 students, including 235 prisoners, appeared for the exams as private candidates.

In Chennai alone, 67,000 students are expected to appear for the board exams across 296 centers.

To check your results, follow these steps:

• Visit the official websites (dge.tn.gov.in and tnresults.nic.in) of the Tamil Nadu State Board Examination.
• Locate and click on the link for Class 10 Examination Results.
• Enter your registration number and date of birth (ensure the date of birth is in the format: dd/mm/yyyy).
• Upon submission, a new page will display.
• You can now access your exam result and download it as a PDF file for printing, if necessary.

For successful clearance of the TN SSLC board exams, students must achieve a minimum score of 35 in each subject, with at least 20 out of 75 marks in theory and 15 out of 25 marks in the practical section.
