Tamil Nadu School Exam Dates: Check Class 1-9 Exam Schedule, And Summer Holiday Deets

The Tamil Nadu School Education Department on Wednesday announced that the final exams for the classes 1 to 9 will be conducted from April 15-21 following which the summer vacation begins.

As per the notification released by the Tamil Nadu School Education Department, the exams for students in classes 1 to 3 will begin on April 15 and conclude on April 21.

For classes 4 and 5, the exams are held between April 9 and 21. Whereas the examinations for classes 6 and 9 will begin on April 8 and conclude on April 24.

Exam Schedule for Classes 1 to 9:

Classes 1 to 3:

April 15 - Tamil

April 16 - Language

April 17 - English

April 21 - Mathematics

Classes 4 and 5:

April 9 - Tamil

April 11 - English

April 15 - Mathematics

April 16 - Optional Language

April 17 - Science

April 21 - Social Science

Classes 6 to 9:

The Tamil exam will commence on April 8, with all exams concluding on April 24.

Summer Vacation Dates:

Following the completion of exams, the summer vacation will begin as follows:

Classes 1 to 5: April 22 onwards

Classes 6 to 9: April 25 onwards

With this announcement, students and parents can now prepare accordingly for the upcoming final exams and the summer break. The Tamil Nadu School Education Department is expected to release further details regarding the reopening dates for the new academic year in the coming weeks.

However, the public exams for +2 students commenced on March 3 with the language test and will continue until March 25. Similarly, the public exams for class 11 students began on March 5 and will conclude on March 27. The class 10 public exams are scheduled to take place from March 28 to April 4.
